January 18, 2022 - By proclamation of Governor Tom Wolf, Pennsylvania joined communities across the United States in mobilizing events and activities that supported bringing racial healing into homes, communities, and institutions during the National Day of Racial Healing.  First Lady Frances Wolf joined the Governor’s Office of Advocacy and Reform to observe Pennsylvania’s first Day of Racial Healing, in Jenkintown, PA.  The event celebrated the Symbol of Solidarity mural by Brian Bowens, the documentary about it by Esteban Serrano, and the courage of LaToya Bowens and others in the community who helped the work to manifest.  Delivered a 5-minute presentation including “The Answer,” from Sailing to Calencia and Other Poems of Kindness, Understanding, and Love and “The Art of Your Heart.”  A 7-minute, edited segment from the event is available at: https://youtu.be/4KbuQmjbrac
